The Renaissance Craftsmanship

At Renaissance Art House, we do not produce "prints." We publish Heritage Editions. Every piece is a physical investment designed to last for generations, combining centuries-old artisanal standards with modern precision.

1. Museum-Grade Giclée Process

We utilize the Giclée (French for "to spray") method, the gold standard for fine art reproduction. Our printers utilize a 12-color archival pigment ink system. Unlike standard four-color printing, this wide gamut captures the nuanced skin tones, deep obsidian shadows, and vibrant textures essential to representing Black culture with dignity.

2. Archival Museum-Grade Substrates

We exclusively use Museum-Grade Archival Fine Art Paper.

Acid-Free & Lignin-Free: This ensures the paper will not yellow or become brittle over time, preserving the integrity of the work for over 100 years.

Museum Standards: Our selection meets the highest criteria for permanence and color longevity, featuring a heavy, professional weight with a textured matte finish that eliminates glare and enhances the depth of the pigment.

3. Artisan Framing

Our frames are not mere borders; they are structural extensions of the art.

Solid Hardwood: Each work is presented in our signature, hand-finished black gallery frame. We utilize solid hardwoods to ensure structural integrity and a premium aesthetic—no veneers or composite materials.

Gallery Acrylic: We utilize UV-protective, shatter-resistant acrylic. It is lighter than glass for safe shipping and provides superior clarity while protecting the work from sunlight damage.

The Finish: Every frame is hand-joined with mitered corners and finished with a dust cover and professional-grade hanging hardware.

4. The Certificate of Authenticity

Each work from the Renaissance Flagship Collection is accompanied by a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity. This document serves as your proof of provenance, detailing the edition number and the archival specifications of the work.
